  • $52k base salary
  • 5 weeks annual leave
  • Salary packaging benefits

Who we are…

Churches of Christ offer over 200 services in more than 100 communities, positively impacting around 45,000 lives each year. Our care services range from children, youth and family services, early intervention and protection, affordable housing, and seniors and support living, making us one of Australia's largest, most diverse not-for-profit organisations.

We provide a range of services to children, youth and families ranging from foster and kinship care to residential and supported independent living services. We provide support for more than 2,800 children, young people and families each year. Over 800 dedicated foster and kinship carers help us provide a vital safety net for these young people.

About the role…

An opportunity exists for a self-motivated individual to join our team as an Administration Officer on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday. Your exceptional administrative skills will provide crucial assistance to the Business Support Officer and other staff to ensure the smooth running of the Caboolture Children, Youth and Family Service, however there may be occasional travel required throughout the Moreton Bay Region.

In this varied role, you will manage administrative tasks such as:

  • Answering phone, website and counter enquiries;
  • Inputting the staffing roster;
  • Generating reports;
  • Maintaining and ensuring the security and confidentiality of office files and records;
  • Financial administration - accounts payable and petty cash.

About you…

With strong interpersonal skills, you are confident assisting and liaising with a range of internal and external enquiries. You are a professional individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and pays attention to detail. Your can-do attitude and proactive approach enables you to be efficient and reliable.

To be suitable for the position, your qualifications for the role will consist of:

  • A Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent;
  • Experience in an administration role;
  • Intermediate computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft applications;
  • Possess, or have the ability to obtain, a Blue Card (Working with Children), Licensed Care Service (Child Protection) and a National Police Clearance.

Please note, all employees working within our residential and community services need to be immunised for COVID. You will need to provide evidence that your COVID vaccination meets the requirements of Churches of Christ policy, or the applicable public health direction.

Importantly, you will be someone who closely aligns with our organisational values of: Unconditional Love, Continual Innovation, Mutual Trust, Wise Stewardship and Safety.

Imagine working for us…

Our values encourage us to be accepting of differences and embrace all. Our size and variety offers you real choice and opportunities to grow your career. You'll also find we offer a family friendly work culture.

Remuneration packages come complete with salary-packaging benefits and extensive retail discounts. Salary packaging is an ATO approved method of restructuring your salary by reducing the tax you pay and increasing your net take home pay. Salary sacrificing can be used on benefits such as: mortgage repayments, rent payment, car leasing and entertainment.

All Churches of Christ employees have a generous five weeks of annual leave, with the ability to purchase more (for eligible employees).

To ensure your career can grow, we are constantly exploring innovating training and development programs. Most importantly, you will help us to positively impact the lives of thousands of vulnerable Australians.

Just imagine that.
