THE POSITION
We are seeking Full-Time and Casual Car Park Supervisors based in Melbourne Airport. You will be self-motivated and professional, and committed to demonstrating a high level of customer service to our client and patrons while providing visible and practical leadership to the Customer Service Officers. The Car Park Supervisor is a pivotal role and is given full accountability for overseeing the car park operations and performances as well as an important conduit of information to both the client and Wilson Parking Management.
The primary functions of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Provide high quality frontline customer service and support through intercom, phone and online enquiries;
- Monitor the performance and operations of the car parks within designated control room environment;
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Customer Service team;
- Manage the rostering and ensure sufficient coverage for the parking operations with the support of the Rostering Coordinator;
- Manage all incidents within the car park operations with the support of the Duty Manager; and
- Provide administration support and regular reporting as directed by the Duty Manager / Contract Manager.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Essential: People management or frontline supervisory experience;
- Resilient, hard-working self-starter who enjoys a challenge and can juggle multiple tasks whilst maintaining a strong attention to detail;
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to be proactive and take ownership;
- Computer literate and willingness to learn new skills;
- Passionate about customer service delivery;
- Desirable: Previous control room experience and a current Security Licence;
- Essential: Flexible to work a rotating roster covering 24/7 operations (inclusive of early morning, late night, weekend and public holiday).
Successful candidates will also be required to complete a national police check. In addition to standard Award Employment Conditions, you will receive uniforms and appropriate training.
