Job description
IQVIA is looking for a Registered Nurse interested in joining our team to work with patients in their home administering IV infusions for the treatment of Haemolytic Uraemic Syndrome.
This position is casual, making it an ideal role for a Registered Nurse looking for additional work.
Patient visits: 1 paediatric patients currently (4 years old). Fortnightly visits for approx. 25-45 minutes with a 1 hour mandatory post observation period. Flexibility of +/- 2 days for each infusion. This patient has a port a cath, infusion will be administered via this.
Location: Morawa WA
Online training (approx. 6 hours) will be provided and paid by IQVIA and client.
Essential:
- RN (Current Registration)
- Current Basic Life Support Certificate/CPR Certificate with paediatric component
- Current/ full/ unrestricted driver’s licence
- At least 12 months recent cannulation and IV infusion experience with paediatric patients
- Hand Hygiene Certificate & Infection Prevention Control Certificate
- Police Check & Working with Children Check
- IT Proficient
- Flexible with time and days
- Covid-19 vaccinated in accordance with local health guidelines
Desirable:
- Community nursing experience
- Porta Cath, fistula, PICC line experience
