The opportunity
We are currently seeking a reliable, passionate Cleaner on a casual basis to assist with maintaining cleanliness within our Malabar residential care home – Dorothy Boyt House.
Our casual Cleaning staff may be called upon to cover the following shifts across a 7 day roster:
- 6:00am - 11:30am
- 6:00am - 12:30pm
- 08:30am - 2:00pm
Key responsibilities (not limited to):
- Providing a clean, safe environment for the residents and staff
- Incorporating individual resident preferences when attending rooms
- Maintaining best practice in cleaning techniques
- Maintaining Cleaning Colour Code protocols to prevent cross infection/contamination of environment.
Skills and experience needed:
- Commercial cleaning experience - highly regarded
- Certificate III in Cleaning Operations or working towards - desirable
- Proven competence with verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to support and promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Anglicare.
