We are proud to partner with a market leader within the utility space. These guys have offices based in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth & Brisbane. Their HQ is in Hawthorn East which is where your new role will be based. The business provides embedded networks (electricity, gas, water, internet, solar) to large apartment & corporate buildings.
Due to growth, we are looking for a Complaints Consultant to join their customer service team. Your new team are all about creating a fun, social & inclusive work culture & environment!

This is the perfect role for someone with an experienced background in complex customer service, resolutions or complaints.

This role is permanent full time and is paying a salary of $65-70K + 10.5% Super. We are looking for people to join right away so apply now!

The role

You will handle a range of complex queries, complaints & issues through inbound and outbound calls, online queries & more. This role will be dealing with both customers & stakeholders.

Your key focus is providing a great experience in line with company policy & compliance, ensuring effective dispute resoloutions. In addition, you will be a large support to the customer service team, dealing with high-end complex queries.

The shifts are a standard 7.5-hour day, rotating between starts of 8 am – 10 am, the latest finish being 6 pm. A mix of work from home and office is offered after passing 6-month probation.

The team
They are different to your usual contact centre. They get that every call is different, so you're not monitored by average handling times or KPIs, they just ask that you do your best for every customer!

Key requirements
  • 2 years in a customer service/contact centre position
  • Strong conflict management experience
  • Prior experience in energy/utilities highly regarded
  • Resilience when dealing with customers
  • A team player who is eager to assist
