Job description
The business operates across multiple sectors which include residential, commercial and industrial with projects ranging from small fit-outs up to construction projects valued at $20M+. The ideal candidate should have experience in either glazing, painting or facade. Performance bonus and company car is also available.The business value their staff, create growth opportunities and have an open-door policy with a flat and approachable management structure.
Your New Role
Working within the smaller works division you will be required to deliver construction, heavy refurbishment and fit projects ranging from $200K up to $20M.
Project Manager
You will report to the General Manager and be required to successfully deliver and program projects to the high standards and budgets required whilst maintaining and building further relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Having great communication skills is essential.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Building, or Construction Management or relevant industry qualifications
- 5+ years of post-graduate experience working on construction projects
- Proven project delivery experience up to $10M +
- A technical working knowledge of all major building trades
- Technical working knowledge of structural and civil engineering design principles
- Technical working knowledge of the building design process
- A strong understanding of contract law
- Solid work history with reputable firms
- Financial acumen to ensure projects run within budgetary constraints.
- Computer literate, including Intermediate to advanced MS Word, Project, Excel, Outlook
- Great writing skills
