Through growth come opportunity and a role has opened up for a General Manager to join the business to work with the heads of department and leadership team to dramatically grow their geographical footprint and enhance business performance overall.

What will you be doing in this role:

As the General Manager you will be reporting to the Director and will provide leadership, strategy and coaching to the heads of department and leadership team. This role will see you directing business functions to assist the group in maintaining relationships with clients, generating new business, increasing productivity, improving service, ensuring sustainability and meeting business objectives.
  • Engage with management to ensure efficient day to day operations of the business
  • Develop and implement growth strategies across property management, sales, and other business opportunities
  • Assist with recruitment of senior staff
  • Work with the CFO to allocate budget resources
  • Manage operational cost and monitor P&L
  • Build training and development programs with the heads of each department
  • Ensure each direct report has a detailed performance plan with accountability measurement
  • Responsibility for overseeing effective team structure
  • Ensure all business practice satisfices OFT guidelines
  • Ensure all staff, contractors and supplies are compliant with brand standards
  • Risk and complaints management

The right candidate will have:
  • Strong capability in managing and mediating conflict with clear outcomes
  • The ability to always operate with teamwork and collaboration at the forefront
  • The ability to look at different ways to solve problems
  • Maintains an ever-present focus on developing others for maximum performance outcomes
  • Is a catalyst for driving change creating a culture of growth and innovation
  • Outcome focused and able to set goals and work towards them with enthusiasm
  • Experience working with the property industry and a sound knowledge of industry dynamics
  • Effective time management skills
  • A NSW Class 1 Real Estate licence preferable
  • Valid NSW drivers licence and reliable car
  • The ability to relocate to NSW
