Healthy Ageing Engagement Officer
Job description
Temporary Part Time - 24 hours per fortnight until 30 June 2023
The Healthy Ageing Engagement Officer will support Council to become more age-friendly, lead and/or develop partnerships and enable people aged over 65 to remain connected to their community.
This dynamic role will be responsible for implementation, monitoring and evaluation of a range of projects to support the implementation of PARTICIPATE 2020-2025 Council’s Positive Ageing Plan and delivery of services under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme.
We are seeking a person with experience in the areas of community services, community development and/or health promotion. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a National Police Check prior to commencement.
Interviews will be conducted week commencing 5 September 2022.
