The Company
This mechanical contractor, and services business, has seen continuous success over the past 25 years, involved in mechanical jobs in NSW, VIC and QLD ranging from $500k to upwards of $60 million (mechanical packages) within the commercial, institutional and industrial sectors, and have recently expanded their premises to accomodate growth.

The Role
As part of the Drafting and Engineering team, you will work closely with the Engineers and Project Managers in producing detailed shop drawings using your strong experience in REVIT MEP, and your ability to work with all internal and external stakeholders involved in the job.
Drawings will be based on high level engineering designs, engineered in house (D+C) and will be optimised through ongoing coordination meetings with the builder and other building services contractors to address clash detection issues, and for synergy in project flow.
Your role would be project specific, leading your jobs through initial design stages, to variations, to completion and handover.
Requirements
It is imperative that all applicants have sound working knowledge of REVIT MEP, and have been using it on projects in an Australian setting for at least 3 years, preferably more.
Perhaps you are in a REVIT Drafter role now, and looking for a step up to a Lead Drafter role locally, or you are looking for a better life balance or a more convenient daily commute.
You will understand what is expected in terms of Australian standards, and have superb communication skills, written and verbal, and be able to attend and retain important project information collated from ongoing meetings.
