About the roleAn exciting opportunity exists for a highly organised administrator to work in the Associate Judges Chambers within the Supreme Court of Victoria. Associate Judges resolve a wide range of interlocutory disputes, and give directions, make orders and give judgments in an intermediate stage of a proceeding. They also have original jurisdiction in a number of areas and perform work that is final in nature, including some trial work.
This role involves liaising with Judiciary, Registry and Associates to allocate work and manage the Associate Justices' roster, maintain resources, prepare complex reports, and provide high-level administrative support as required by the Associate Justices.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent writing skills and demonstrated ability to manage a diary.
Previous experience within a court environment is highly desirable.
