The opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for you to join QBE's Australia Pacific People function in the role of People Consultant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and build on your HR generalist skills. This diverse position will give you the chance to:- Provide expert advice and coaching to support leaders with a specific focus on case management and employee relations
- Support organisational redesign and implementation
- Provide generalist HR advice and guidance to employees, line, and senior management in relation to QBE Enterprise Agreement, contracts of employment, policies, and processes
- Support and contribute to the work of the broader HR team and build relationships with key stakeholders to support people and business agendas
- Experience in providing advice to leaders and employees on employment relations and generalist HR matters
- Experience supporting HR cyclical activities
- Sound data analytics and reporting skills
- Well-developed problem-solving skills with the ability to seek pragmatic outcomes
- Ability to effectively prioritise and manage competing needs
