What this job involves:
As Project Manager you will run and facilitate a regional roll out of works for a major national account. Reporting in to the PMO team, you will be able to plan, organise, program and run a roll out of different types of works from minor to major upgrades. This role will be based in Regional locations.

You will be expected to contribute independently the tasks below. This means as a PM you demonstrate a high familiarity with the subject matter and can produce these deliverables with little guidance from senior team members. Project Managers are also able to validate and oversee deliverables produced by Project Coordinators and Assistant Project Managers. It is expected a PM manages between 5-8 projects at various stages.

You will also take total responsibility for the effective management of all phases of a project (or projects) from initial establishment to handover and project closure. The role requires coordinating thought and leadership skills to encourage maximum contributions of all participants in the project and focus these to maximise outcomes for all stakeholders.

Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for:
You have a degree in Project or Construction Management or a related field with six (6) years’ experience or a combination of formal education and experience in excess of ten (10) years, four of which must be related to Design, Construction or Project Management.

You have a positive attitude, and a problem solver with the ability to work as part of a large team and autonomously when required. You are also a subject matter specialist and can produce deliverables with little guidance from senior team members. You are also capable of running 5-8 projects at various stages.
You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You are a strong leader that can guide a team, use thought coordination and focus to maximise outcome for stakeholders. You are also proficient in MS Office Suite, SharePoint and Microsoft Project with experience in managing cost reporting systems. You have a strong understanding of compliance, health, and safety guidelines.
