Return Work Wellbeing Officer
Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to join Council’s Risk and OHS team as a Return to Work and Wellbeing Officer. This position is responsible for supporting safety and wellbeing programs, policies and initiatives across Council and is instrumental in supporting and administering the return to work program. This role is suitable for someone who is passionate about creating a safe culture that supports and prevents workplace harm.
The successful candidate will bring a contemporary approach to wellbeing and an educative approach to dealing with staff, contractors and volunteers. The successful candidate will have an understanding of OHS legislation and standards and previous experience in a similar role will be well regarded.
The Risk and OHS team are a supportive team who work across all areas of Council to support staff to manage corporate and OHS risk. Flexible and remote working opportunities are available for this position.
