Our client is a Victorian state government entity who is seeking a Security Architect. The role is a 3-month contract to start immediately.Experience and skills
- Provide security architectural services to Senior Cybersecurity Programme Manager
- Experience in security compliance / governance projects
- Demonstrable experience in security architecture & solution design
- Excellent communication, written and verbal
- Candidate should have a relevant tertiary qualification
- Ability to integrate quickly into a team and create relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- High level organisational skills and great time management
- High level of reporting and presentation skills
Key responsibilities
- Assist in defining AV security requirements and areas of improvement based on current Department of Health Security Controls
- Work with security and technical staff to develop or recommend solutions to address cybersecurity controls, audit or penetration test findings
- Review proposed designs and architectural solutions to ensure AV Security requirements are met and suitable solutions and architecture are being
- Document Security solutions and standard patterns in a uniform way that offers appropriate levels of protection
- Present solutions to a governance forum for broader ICT review and endorsement
- Provide a technical security escalation point for cybersecurity related solutions being delivered by staff or vendors
